A happy Easter to you!
What are you doing to celebrate this day? Is it just an ordinary day for you, or is it a busy one involving family, friends, and sending children out to hunt for eggs and candy?
I grew up with colored hardboiled eggs, chocolate bunnies, and yellow marshmallow chickies nestled in baskets of shredded paper.
But it wasn't all about bunnies and chocolate.
We also celebrated the death and resurrection of the LORD Jesus Christ - our Savior. The one who came to earth to die for the sins of the world - to save us from an everlasting life in hell.
What are the reasons you celebrate this day? Is it just about chocolate, good food, and having fun? Do you dismiss the "religious" part of Easter?
If you are looking for answers to life's problems and are feeling hopeless and lost in a world that is growing worse and worse by the day, then come to the Savior. The LORD is waiting for you to put your trust in Him - to forgive you of your sins - and give you eternal life.
It doesn't mean your life will suddenly be rosy and full of sunshine. It will mean you have someone on your side to help you get through life's difficulties AND a future home in heaven with Him. That's the most important part.
Why not today? Make your decision to come to Christ today.
Take a few minutes to listen to this beautiful song "Come" by Dan Forrest. It's a favorite of mine and I listen to it often. Click HERE to listen.
