Happy Resurrection Sunday!
Amid all the colorful festivities of eggs and chocolate bunnies on this Easter Sunday, I hope I find you celebrating the true meaning of this day when Jesus Christ rose from the dead. For He died for our sins to give us eternal life.
It is all for the asking - eternal life, that is. It's not guaranteed unless you pray to the LORD for the forgiveness of sins. There is no other way to have eternal life and guarantee your place in heaven.
It's not a generic faith where a person believes there is a God - or knows that part of history where someone called Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross. It's a personal faith and trust in Jesus Christ where He is living in your heart - every day.
Isaiah chapter 53 describes the agony of Christ - what He went through JUST for us! To provide THE way of salvation for the world.
Trust in Him today! Then you can say "Hallelujah! What a Savior!
