For only in Christ will we have peace through suffering, and hope of eternal life. HE is the light of the world!

Today on this day of Thanksgiving, I’m bringing to mind my past holidays I’ve been grateful to celebrate with family and friends.

Looking at the photo above, does God’s creation bring about a serene state of mind? It does for me.

As I mentioned in my previous post, Part 1, I’d been dealing with physical and emotional pain for a long time.

How does the LORD mend a person that is suffering from emotional trauma?

Is the world situation striking fear in your heart or do you have peace because you know who holds the future?

Tears welled up in my eyes as I longed for this future time of peace and prosperity.

"In keeping with the situation" is a favorite quote of mine from Charles Dickens' well-known Christmas story - A Christmas Carol.

What is a blessing? It's a benefit, a favor that God hands to us.

The Psalms is my favorite book of the Bible. It's the section of scripture I always go to for encouragement in times of trouble.
